VR was running fine before the update (Valve Index). Go to the Windows 11 Downloads page and click on Download now under Create Windows 11 Installation Media, to download the Windows 11 Media Creation Tool. Takes an inconsistent number of restarts to fix.

Clean Install will install Windows 11 and keep nothing. Keep Data Only will keep personal files (including drivers) only, not apps and not Windows Settings. This is the default experience and is the one that Installation Assistant uses. After a little while, a flood of pink lines/frame drops on the performance graphĬompletely erratic. Perform a Full Upgrade, which keeps personal files (including drivers), apps, and Windows Settings. SteamVR performance graph shows all greenģ. I'm not sure if the issue is frame rate related or tracking related though, as the entire scene judders/stutters only when moving my head (even outside of a title/SteamVR home I can see my lighthouses and controllers stutter erratically). Originally posted by Parity:I have VR judder/stutter issues since upgrading to Windows 11 as well. Most recent Steam beta & SteamVR beta (as of 10/23/21) Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11 Pro (build 0.282 with KB5006746, which corrects the AMD 元 caching issue, applied) Headset: Valve Index (w/ 2 lighthouses and 2 knuckles controllers) Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 (Driver Version: 30.) Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix X570-E Gaming w/ most recent BIOS CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X, 3700 MHz (AMD Ryzen Chipset Driver 3.10.08.506, which corrects behavior of UEFI CPPC2 (“preferred core”) in Windows 11, installed) I usually force the restart from within VR by enabling or disabling the Index cameras, which then gives the option to restart SteamVR. The issue often gets resolved (for a while) by restarting SteamVR (sometimes it requires a few restarts, though). The issue for me usually starts shortly after launching a new title or when loading SteamVR Home. I have VR judder/stutter issues since upgrading to Windows 11 as well.
